Ali’s artistic abilities were noticeable at a young age, always taking photos, drawing, painting, coloring, writing songs, playing musical instruments…she loved it all. As an adult, she pursued photography as a profession, graduating with a BA from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2005. In her 40’s, she faced some traumatic hurdles that took her to a dark place where she found it extremely difficult to shine her natural light. As fate would have it, she discovered the Milan Art Institute, which transformed not only her skill level with painting, but also provided a therapeutic practice that ultimately healed her deepest wounds.
